Al Findlay Memorial Gala Day Parking
Gala Day Road Closures
Road Closures will take effect on the parade route from 06:00am Saturday with additional closures occurring from 11:00am.
Please do not park in these areas.
From 06:00am
Ireland Street, Anderson Street, Barnard Street and Burke Street.
From 11:00am
Gavan Street, from Great Alpine Road to Mountbattern Ave
Bakers Gully Road above Park Street

Parking
Parking is available street side but it is recommended that visitors consider parking in nearby parking zones.
Please note, these parking zones are unmanned and you are parking there at your own risk.
Back Porepunkah and Back German Town Roads: Parking on the river side of the road with access into town via the Weir Bridge.
Hawthorn Lane: Street Side Parking
Churchill Ave: On the Council Chambers side of Churchill Ave.
Pioneer Park: Enter via Cobden Street, parking available via the parking area on the river side of Pioneer Park. Access to Bright via the Morses Creek walking trail (10 mins).
Buses and Coaches
Busses and Coaches are invited to park on the grassed area, off Mill Road. Traffic is one way and Mill Road exits onto Great Alpine Road.
Access to Mill Road is via Great Alpine Road, along Station Street which becomes Cobden Street, turn right into Mill Road.
Buses and Coaches: Alternate Parking
If the grassed area is too soft for safe parking, Busses and Coaches are invited to use Mill Road as a drop off/pick up point. Traffic is one way and Mill Road exits onto Great Alpine Road.
The alternate parking site is the hard stand area within Pioneer Park, where there is ample parking and turning space.
From the Mill Road drop off zone, complete the look back to the entrance of Mill Road but proceed through the round-a-bout, turn left onto Coronation Ave, turn right to remain on Coronation Ave and enter via the main gate. The hard stand area is at the bottom of the hill on the right.
Return to Mill Road for pickup via the same route.
